A: Of course, this comes down to personal preference, although I’d love to stay at any of the high-end accommodation options on this list! And to be frank, even the budget options are incredible, if you’re willing to rough it a little.

Q: Is Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi better to visit?

A: After spending about a month in Vietnam, I personally prefer Hanoi. I think that’s because Ho Chi Minh City can be extremely humid and hot and Hanoi has a cooler temperature year round. It also depends if you want to spend more time in nature or be in a bustling city. While I love city life, Hanoi is closer to a lot of nature and that was the selling point for me!
