Best Airbnbs in Canada: The Most Unique Vacation Rentals for 2023

spellbound travels best airbnbs in Canada

Canada is an adventure, no matter what part of the country you’re visiting! From the exciting landscape of the Rocky Mountains to the cottage country around the Great Lakes and the beautiful beaches of the east coast, there’s something for everyone. It goes without saying that Canada has some incredible places to stay. I’m breaking it down by Airbnbs in different parts of the country to find the best Airbnb in Canada!

Why Visit Canada?

📌 SAVE this post for when you’re planning your trip or share it with a friend!

If I haven’t already sold you on travelling through my home country, here are a few reasons why you should add Canada to your travel bucket list:

  • Skiing/Snowboarding – Canada is freezing for about 8 months of the year, meaning there is no shortage of ski resorts to visit. I’ve been to Banff Sunshine in April and there was still plenty of snow! In fact, you’ll find snow stays until June in some parts of British Columbia and Alberta.
  • Vibrant Cities – If you’re more of a city person, you have many to choose from. Toronto is great for Business travellers and major events but there’s also downtown Vancouver, Old Quebec City for some history and a more European feel and Montreal for crazy nightlife. The city Airbnbs are equipped with modern amenities such as smart TVs, beautiful kitchens and amazing views.
  • Unique Airbnb Hosts in the Great Outdoors – Want to be surrounded by nature during your stay? Not a problem! Banff National Park is a great option for outdoor enthusiasts who are excited to explore the Canadians Rockies. You’ll have no trouble finding unique rentals across Canada, including a little house with a private hot tub, a cabin with a fire pit and possibly even a secret cover treehouse cottage!
  • Ocean and River Views – Canada’s western coast offers insane views of the Pacific Ocean with many rentals located nearby the Sunshine Coast (British Columbia), or on the western coast of Vancouver Island. If you’re looking for river views instead, you may enjoy staying in Prince Edward Island or somewhere that’s within walking distance of the St. Lawrence River.
  • Airbnb Superhosts and Options with a Parking Space – I always recommend booking a Superhost on Airbnb if you can because you know that they’re a trusted source with positive reviews. And if you’re driving, you need to ensure the property has parking spaces.
